Welcome to the Dream Life
You fly into Tortola, and before you even know what’s happening, someone is whisking you to the marina where your luxury yacht is stocked and waiting. I mean, this yacht is gorgeous—sleek, spacious, and stocked with everything from champagne to paddleboards. We meet our crew (who instantly feel like old friends), get the lay of the land, and then set sail.
First night? We drop anchor in a quiet little cove, the water is like glass, and the chef serves up this insane fresh seafood dinner that feels like it deserves a Michelin star. I’m not kidding when I say I slept like a baby with the sound of the waves rocking me to sleep.

Snorkeling at The Indians & Exploring Pirate Caves
Woke up to the smell of fresh brewed organic coffee and the soft glow of the sunrise. We started the day at The Indians, which—if you love snorkeling—is basically the holy grail. The water is so clear, it’s like swimming in an aquarium. Schools of fish, vibrant coral, even several sea turtles just casually cruising by.
After lunch, we sail over to The Caves at Norman Island. Think hidden grottoes and pirate legends—because, fun fact, Treasure Island was inspired by this place. We swam through these magical caves, half-expecting to find a chest of gold, then sipped sundowners on the deck as the sun went down. Absolute magic.

Sailing to Virgin Gorda & Exploring The Baths
Okay, if you’ve never been to The Baths, imagine giant boulders stacked along the shore, creating a labyrinth of hidden pools and tunnels leading to a pristine beach that’s only accessible by foot.
We climbed through, waded in the pools, and popped out onto this ridiculous white sand beach on the other side. It felt like we were in a movie.
Afterward, we hiked up to this hilltop bar (because, priorities) with the most jaw-dropping view. Sipped a frozen cocktail, took about 3,000 pictures, then went back to our yacht (did I really just say that?!) for another perfect night under the stars.

Sail to Anegada for Lobster and Beach Bliss
Most of the BVI’s are volcanic, but Anegada? It’s totally different—flat, remote, and fringed with beaches and protected areas that are completely untouched. We pulled up, hopped in a jeep, and went exploring.
We found beaches where we were the only footprints in the sand, stopped to see the island’s flamingos, and then settled in for what is arguably the best meal in the BVI: Anegada lobster, grilled to perfection at a tiny, family-run beach bar.
Returning to the yacht just in time for sunset, we toasted to another perfect day.

Storybook Views & Sundowners at Marina Cay
After a slow, breezy morning on the water, we made our way to Marina Cay- an impossibly charming little island just off the coast of Beef Island. It's the kind of place that feels like it was plucked straight from a post card: turquoise shallows and palm-fringed beaches that make you forget real life exists anywhere else.
We snorkeled right off the back of the boat, floated in gin-clear water, and explored the shore before heading up to the hilltop bar for cocktails with a view that honestly didn't feel real. The vibe here? Effortless. Peaceful. A little bit magical.
As the sun went down, we toasted to another perfect day. We'll 100% be talking about it for a long, long time.

Cane Garden Bay – Beach Bars & Barefoot Dancing
Time to turn up the energy. Cane Garden Bay is known for some of the best sunsets in the Caribbean and is the kind of place where you drop anchor and instantly feel the good vibes. The beach is lined with colorful bars, the water is calm enough for paddleboarding, and if you’re a rum lover—hello, Callwood Distillery. It’s a 400-year-old rum distillery where you can sip the smoothest rum straight from the source.

Jost Van Dyke – Where the Party’s At
You can’t visit the BVI’s without experiencing Jost Van Dyke, home of Foxy’s and Soggy Dollar Bar—aka two of the most famous beach bars in the Caribbean.
Soggy Dollar is where the Painkiller cocktail was invented, and yes, we fully leaned into the experience. You swim ashore, grab a drink, and just soak in the perfect chaos of music, dancing, and pure island energy. Foxy’s? Different vibe but equally legendary. We drank, we danced, we sang, and we fully understood why people call this the best place to party in the BVI’s.

Reality (aka Back to Tortola, Crying Inside)
On our final morning, we lingered a little longer over breakfast, took one last swim, sipped a final mimosa, and then reluctantly made our way back to Tortola. We wanted to throw our passports in the ocean so we wouldn’t have to leave. But it’s all good–we all knew we’d be back. Because when you find a place that feels this good, leaving for good is never really an option.
